Show Jumping Horse Greenacres Hajla – Z

Show jumping horse Greenacres Hajla – Z  is a 16.3 hh  six year old ( rising 7 ) Dutch Warmblood Mare ( See Breed Pedigree ). She arrived at Greenacres Stud in June 2005 directly from Holland, having been sired by  Dutch Warmblood  stallion  High Valley – Z   standing at the Zangersheide  Stud  and out of  the mare Dancela xx. She was born February 1998 and bred by Piet Heyman.

The other horses in her truly impressive pedigree include prolific Show Jumping horses  Ahorn ,   Nimmerdor  and  Ladykiller  on her sire’s side and equally prolific race horses  Ela – Mana – Mou  xx  ,  Secala  xx, Secretariat  xx , and  Northern Dancer  xx  on her dam’s side.

Her past history however was a bit of a puzzle, but in September 2005, a surprise telephone call from a former groom to Hajla, Debby Verstappen gave us much useful information. More useful information has since arrived via. E Mail, from a friend  of the Breeder Piet Heyman.

Hajla has a scar on her off side cannon bone , but this previous injury has been fully checked out by our vet and confirmed that it will have no effect upon  her future show jumping career.

Hajla was schooled and ridden as our second string horse for the 2005 / 2006 season. Greenacres Hajla-Z was successfully competed up to British Show Jumping Association, Newcomers height. ( 1.10 m. )

The next step in the programme is to put Greenacres Hajla – Z into Foxhunter and 1.25m competitions.
